It takes about 50 years for the
ozone at ground level to reach the upper atmosphere.
So the ozone depletion 2000 to 2006 is coming from the 1950's.
The stuff from the 60's has yet to hit the ozone layer.
However, the space shuttle and rockets fired into the upper
atmoshpere affect the ozone layer in a shorter time period.
